Welcome to Ophthalmology Caledonia

Since 2008, we have run a practical oculoplastics course aimed at tackling many areas of the ophthalmology higher specialist training curriculum as well as areas of interest to both trainees and consultants.

The course is held at the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology in Glasgow, the main centre for Ophthalmology in the West of Scotland.

The course is entirely taught by oculoplastic consultants, and with a mixture of lectures, modelling sessions and wet lab teaching, we believe we offer outstanding value for money and a fantastic learning opportunity. Our trainee:instructor ratio is high, so there is plenty of opportunity for personal guidance over the day, and this is reflected in our feedback in which we have consistently been rated as “excellent!”
